After I adopted a dog from Gentle Giants Rescue, they tried to illegally respossess my dog because I did not feed a brand of food that they THOUGHT I must feed the dog.
After speaking with many, many people about this organization, I launched a website, (((ROR REDACTED LINK FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))), to let others know about them.
They filed a lawsuit against me for Defamation, Interference with Business, and "emotional distress". This lawsuit was tossed out as a Meritless SLAPP lawsuit because of my FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT of free speech.
I have made available, thru my website (((ROR REDACTED LINK FOR SECURITY PURPOSES))), many many other people's horrifying experience of adopting a Giant Breed dog from this organization.

This place is not a true rescue! They get many of their dogs & puppies aka litters from "dog breeders". Example the Borzoi's come from a breeder in San Antonio, TX! They are acting more on a broker basis than anything. These are not common breed dogs either that run amuck in everyone's neighbor hoods either. Think about it people! How in the world could they have that many rare breed "Litters" etc. Huge red flags have been popping up for years about this "Rescue" I am appalled they have been allowed to advertise as a "Rescue" for this long under a California non-profit 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation! ...... Barbara's website aka Gentle Giant News is an excellent source to get the truth from by utilizing the Freedom of speech act from the public themselves that have told the truth of their direct experience with GGR with out being afraid to tell the truth.
Also I want to point out their "Sasquatch" is not even a breed of dog! Just more pathetic attempts of a name slapped on to make money for an aka designer dog...so pathetic and sad! Of course the poor animals are innocent....which is sadder than the fact that this place is make a living off of the despair these animals have endured.
Disgusted with this organization!
