I did alot of research to find a salon that was an expert on hair color. I read many reviews on the internet and facebook and found Miranda Zerba. This is the biggest regret of my life.

I wanted my hair lightned and also to get a few highlights. I took a picture so Miranda would have an idea of what I wanted. She barely took a look at the picture and said "don't worry honey, I'm an expert and your hair will look terrific when I'm done" (NO IT DID NOT). She started to mix the color and then I heard her asking I can only assume was another hair stylist which level she should use. They started to go back and forth on the level, one said 10 the other said 12. I have no idea what these levels mean, but it was making me nervous. When Miranda returned with the hair color mixture I asked her if she knew exactly what she was doing, she reassured me. She applied the haircolor mixture on my hair and when she was done, my scalp started to burn. I told her it was burning and she said it was normal. I told her NO IT IS NOT, I'VE HAD MY HAIR DONE BEFORE AND MY SCALP HAS NEVER BURNED!

After about 5 minutes I couldn't take it anymore and I asked her to remove it and wash my hair. My scalp was on fire. She did as I told her but she kept telling me it was normal if I wanted the color I requested. Miranda made me feel like I did something wrong and not her. After she washed my hair and took me back to the station, my hair was ORANGE. I was so freaking mad. I told her I look like a clown. She said I'll tone it down. I said you better do something because I am not going to work with Orange hair. She put something else on it, it changed the Orange color a bit, but it was still Orange. At that point I just told her to leave it and I would go somewhere else to get it fixed.

MIRANDA NEVER SAID SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE, SHE EVEN WANTED TO CHARGE ME $147. I TOLD HER I WASN'T PAYING HER ANYTHING. SHE THEN TOLD ME "I'LL DISCOUNT IT TO $75.00" I TOLD HER I WASN'T PAYING FOR ANYTHING AND LEFT.

MY HAIR WAS WET AND ORANGE, I FELT LIKE A FREAKING CLOWN.

MIRANDA IS WORTHLESS. SHE DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE TO WHAT SHE IS DOING. ON THE WEBSITE SHE CLAIMS THAT SHE HAS BEEN DOING HAIR FOR OVER 7 YEARS. BULLSHIT, IF SHE HAS TO ASK SOMEONE ELSE WHAT TO USE, SHE OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING.

I EVEN CONTACTED THE OWNER OF THE SHOP AND SHE TOLD ME THAT THEY RENT THEIR CHAIRS OUT. THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OVER WHAT THE HAIR STYLIST DO. THE NAME OF THE SALON IS LUXE SALON IN HIAWATHA, IOWA. DO NOT GO THERE.

I went to Miranda Facebook page and put a review, but she took it down. It doesn't surprise me.

DO NOT GO TO MIRANDA ZERBA - GENUINE GRACE SALON 1200 CENTER POINT RD, HIWATHA IA. SHE IS WORTHLESS AND SHE WILL MESS UP YOUR HAIR. WHAT A JOKE MIRANDA IS.
