George Nahas damaged my turn signal level when they replaced my ignition switch and the tire monitor gauge when they rotated my tires and reset the monitor; now they refuse to fix them!! I contacted GM to make a complaint after talking with Randy the Service Manage and neither tried to help me!! The Rep at GM was for the dealer and made all kind of excuses for them and was not concern about helping me; she contacted George Nahas and asked them whether or not they did it and they said no and she is closing the investigation - nothing has been resolved!!  I asked her at GM, Etta, to send me to another chevy dealership so they could determine if George Nahas had damaged my car or not but she stated I would have to pay for it because George Nahas said they did not do anything wrong!! My question to her was how can you all allow George Nahas to do their own investigation to see if they damaged my vehicle when I am making a complaint against them, her reply was they know what they are doing!! That is utterly ridiculous!! Of course they are not going to admit they are wrong; they have and will not take full responsibility for what they did and Etta at GM and helping them not take responsibility; she is not trying to help me but protecting the dealership!! Do not take your car to George Nahas, they are a rip-off!!!

We have done many of these ignition recall repairs before this vehicle and many after this vehicle with no incident.

I have reviewed the repairs we performed on this customer's vehicle carefully  in GM Service Information, with my Shop Foreman and Technician. The steering column trim disassembly is very straight forward, it comes apart horizontally and does not require the turn signal lever to be touched at all. When the customer returned to us the a concern about the turn signal lever we did recheck our work and diagnose her concern at no charge. We did not break the lever during the repair.

The customer also elected to take advantage of our $29.95 convention oil, filter and tire rotation special and we did rotate the tires as part of this service. These tires have a tiny battery powered tire pressure sensor mounted on the back of the tire valve stem inside the wheel. When the tires are rotated the tire pressure sensors must be relearned to the onboard computer. This process is done form outside the wheel with a small handheld tool that sends a signal to the sensor, the sensor sends a signal to the computer to "learn" its new position on the vehicle.

It is not possible that we damaged the sensors or the computer in this process.

We have shared all this information with the customer and various agencies she contacted previously.

We have a great group of technicians here that are experienced and highly trained, still we do occasionally make mistakes and when we do we take care of them.

We did not cause either of these failures, but we are in the business of helping people, I have offered to perform either or both of these repairs at a 10% discount.

If we damaged the vehicle I would pay the cost to repair it to a similar condition as before it came into our shop. However we did not damage her vehicle and it would not be the right thing to absorb the cost to repair it.

Thanks Jim!! I will try both!! I am not going to stop until I get results!! Apparently, I am not the only one they do any kind of way; another Chey dealer told me another customer complained to them about George Nahas!! I have learned that birds of a feather flock together; did not know what my grandmother meant when I heard them say this as I grew up but now I do - if two people associate that means they have the same character - if one crooked and the other knows this and keep associating with them, they crooked too!! God bless you Jim!!

This is an informative video that all car buyers should watch. It's a training video for people that work at auto dealerships but I believe also could help car buyers get better educated before going to a dealership of their choice

Two Choices

At this point, you can turn it over to your insurance company or you can file a small claims suit in court.  PLEASE.....do not simply give in and go away.  That's EXACTLY what they want you to do.  As for GM involvement, Bogus Billy Heard defrauded and deceived customers for years.  GM did absolutely nothing.
