This guy posted $25 phone jack & CCTV service on Craigslist. He is a thief and should be put in prison for a very long time. I personally believe he should stay in prison for the rest of his life because prison will never reform him. As soon as he gets out, he continues to do his dirty work.

He claimed his name is GEORGE WILLIAM ALIG III and a former US Marine. He said he had worked for VERIZON for more than 20 years as a telecommunications expert. He claimed he was a contractor that does work for VERIZON under contract.

He offered a reasonable quote to relocate my office phone system and wire ethernet jacks (even have receipt book from a company). He asked me for a deposit to buy material and exchange my voice mailbox as it was not compatible with my system. After he put the phone unit on the wall (and cut all the original wiring form the jacks). However, he stole my voice mailbox & software cartage for the phone and took the deposit I gave him. He never returned the call or ever came back. He just disappeared. I called him many times but he never returned my call.

When I checked his criminal background online, I discovered he has a long criminal record including a felony conviction. This convicted criminal could be dangerous so please be careful when dealing with him.

Basically, here is the story of my BAD EXPERIENCE with GEORGE W. ALIG III.

We moved to a new office and needed a newer/cheaper phone system that works. With prior experience from Craigslist, I didn’t think much of it when he posted looked like a legit service. After he got here, he gave me a quote for $850 to make my phone/data jack live and put in the system (seemed reasonable enough.)

He wrote an invoice form a company’s invoice book called FEIT ELECTRIC COMPANY in LA (I called and they said they don’t have a George there.) And he even put this address on the invoice: George Aly’ 18340 Yorba Linda Blvd #107-180 Yorba Linda 92880

He recommended moving the system into the office to prevent dust. So he worked to pull some of the cables out (as seemed that he was working on it while in fact, he cut all wires from the jack~ my new phone guy later confirmed that.

He claimed that our voicemail I bought was not compatible with the phone system (kind of weird, but I didn’t think otherwise) He said that he will need to buy the data cable and exchange the voice mail with his buddy at the pre-own equipment shop.

Unfortunately, we paid him in cash for the $500 deposit for the material (since it was a Saturday and I needed to get my phone up to work before the phone company to install the network on the following Tuesday.) So he left with my voicemail unit, took the phone software and $500 deposit. Later, I had to hired a new phone contractor to fix all that mess for another $1300 and bought a voicemail system that cost me another few hundred bucks.

I’m not in the position to spend $$ on legal fees to go after him since I’m already out a few thousands in this communication fiasco; however, I am more than happy to be your wittiness if you are to go after him.
