Mr. Jonathan Olsen contacted me on Jan. 29, 2007. He told me that I had been approved for a $10,000.00 loan. He told me that all I had to do was send $1,000.00 to secure my loan because of my credit history. He told me that if I sent the money my funds would be direct deposited into my checking account within 48 hours. After 48 hours I contacted Mr. Olsen and I recieved no response. After several tries I finally contacted him and he told me that there was a security block on my funds. I believed him and I patiently waited. Several times I tried contacting Mr. Olsen and I have been unable to reach them. The recording says this phone number has been disconnected. It has been almost three months and I have recieved no response from the company. I sent the money to Mr. Olsen using money gram. I have managed to keep all of my receipts. But I have not recieved no funds and not so much as a word from Georgia Lending Group.

They are a rip off!

Meagan, I feel sorry for you. I also got took by these people for a 1000.00. Just for your info, I have been working with the Atlanta PD and they have already arrested one of them and have five other warrants issued. You should give the Atlanta PD a call and give them your info.

For the consumer comment from Atlanta GA, these crooks preyed on a trust worthy, honest person who was down on their luck only to pad their own pockets. To imply that we are fools makes you no better than them. You have just preyed on someones emotions to pad your own ego. Stop it.

$10,000 loan

AUTHOR: Atlanta - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 04, 2007

There's one born every minute.
No reputable company ever charges you money in order to loan you money. Think about it!
Did you apply for this loan?? That should have been a clue right there.
You'll never see a penny of that money, nor will you be able to get your $1000 back.
Companies such as this one (if, indeed it IS a company) prey upon people like you who act in such a foolish manner.

I am afraid you have been scammed.

There is no such legitimate company and there was never a loan. The only thing they wanted was your money.

As you have already found out, their phone is disconnected, they and your $1000 are long gone. They have moved on to their next group of victims.

Contact your state comsumer protection department and find out which agency you should report the fraud to.

Good luck.
