I entered the Frazer Gerhrds store after looking at the website and receiving a few mailers. This was April 2008. I decided that the sales person was nice and the showrom was clean. I bought a total of 4 new appliances - all for my kitchen.
Once my new dishwasher was installed I called that same day to explain to the sales person that my dishwasher did not work.
6 months later I am left with the same unit that does not work. I have tried to work with the sales person, teh store manager, teh subcontractor, teh repair sevice yet I have not had any success.
I spend hours a week on the phone trying to get answers. I am always given another number to call or another route to go. They have come out several times admitting that teh unit is not working propperly yet they do not replace teh unit.
It has been a toal of 6 months with a broken dishwasher.
Please DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from this store - they do not stand by the warranty of the products they sell. They do not care about customer service - they are rude and not helpful.

I am terribly sorry for the difficult time you had reaching us. Up until recently, we did not have a formal customer service department to deal with such inquiries.
We just created a new customer service department to fill this void, and open a more effective line of communication with our customers. We are fully committed to offering the highest quality in customer service, and with a full-time staff of 9, we have invested heavily to ensure that incidents like the one outlined above are a thing of the past.

In over 6 years of doing business with Gerhard's never once have I had
a negative experience. Practically every appliance I own, I bought
there. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff who truly help you
find what you need at a price you can afford.
With 50+ years of experience its no wonder that they're customer
service is far better than at any big box retailer. I wouldn't go
anywhere else.
