I was told by a family member that the govnt. has free grant money to help those in need.i go to "get my grants.com " and apply for a grant.I was advised that I would have to pay 2.95 for shipping and handling of the free CD so i gave them my bank acct. info to pay for this which was debited on 11-18-08.
About 2 wks later while paying some bills through my bank acct. I noticed that their was another charge for 49.50 from GET-MY-G ! I immediately called the number that appeared on my bank statement next to this company which was 866-524-7754.
When you call this number it says" to end this call press 1 or stay on the line." so I stayed on the line then it just hangs up on you.I never agreed to any other charges and am afraid they will keep charging my acct.
Now I will have to close my bank acct. and reopen a new one.
