I was unemployed and desperate to make money at home. I started with GetPaidToTry.com to earn money as an online surveyor. I spent many hours a night doing surveys from 7/26/06 to 12/26/06.

I would go back to my account to see if I made any money. I never got any credit. I emailed them in frustration, after 4-5 hrs of doing their surveys,to tell them "I spent all these hrs for nothing?"

Sometime later I went back to my account and I see pages and pages of surveys I had done and redemptions had been made. I emailed them to say I had lost the account and never seen that before and when I got back to the acount it was there again.

I have been sending them emails for payment and they are not responding. I told them I would take it by check, gave them my address and phone number. They owe alot of money to me.

I even told them I had made a copy (293)pgs. although I didn't get all the pages,(july and aug.) I have the names of the surveys and amounts and told them I would contact them.

I would be very willing to have the media on this and I also told them I would contact the BBB, the BBB said there is company with that name

Lot's of loopholes

AUTHOR: Juliet - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 03, 2007

Debbie, with all the loopholes these "pay to take survey" companies have, they can easily justify not paying you anything.

I signed up for some that were free, I wasn't going to pay to join, but even so, many of the surveys I got were not for compensation, but "points", or "prize entries".

The ones that did say they pay, strangely, I was never qualified, or I would get a SUBSTANTIAL way through a long survey, then all of the sudden, the next web page would bring up an "error message". Interesting - they pretty much got all my opinions, then - ERROR MESSAGE, that could not be worked around.

MANY of the "surveys" weren't surveys. They were things where you had to do a "free trial" ha ha, or sign up for something, and 100 other ways to get money out of me. Didn't work. I quickly found out which companies sent ONLY those types of "surveys", and blocked them. Unsubscribing won't do it.

If you did any of the free trials, etc., and later cancelled them within 3 to 6 months, they will definitely use that as a disqualifying action for receiving payment. You can't cancel or it doesn't count.

I wasn't staking any high hopes of earnings, believe me. But hey, if I made $25 somewhere along the way, I was willing to participate.

Now, I just do the surveys I like, because I do like to have input, and I only do the ones that seem "serious". They actually ask opinions! Two of them do have fun little games to play when you've successfully done a survey, and the others are "prize entries", but who knows, just might win one day lololol. If I don't play, I can't win! Thank heavens my state doesn't have a lottery!!

Anyway, I just don't want you to put too much hope in getting any money out of these "paid survey" companies. They have so many rules, and in a lot of cases, it would be really hard for you to prove that you did indeed "qualify", versus they're claiming you didn't.

Good Luck though! Please post again if you have any success.
