GetResponse Rip Off Report

I am the CEO of Vision Hosting Company, recently I enrolled in a course with Anik Singal to help further my "List Building", Here was the link to my account with Getresponse www.gettingyourowntraffic.com to which is now a dead link (try it).

In this course I offered a FREE course to help every internet user get lazer targeted traffic to their websites (http://www.blue-hosting.com/7-Days-For-Internet-Traffic.pdf)

I was out of the office on Friday (03/10/2014) and returned to Brisbane to find this email shown below:

2014-10-02 15:41:59) GetResponse Support: Hello, The automated monitoring system at GetResponse has flagged your account for investigation due to abnormally high negative metrics (such as spam complaints, bounces and/or unsubscribes). We have conducted the review of your account, and we regret to inform you that a decision was made to suspend your account and to revoke future access to our services. The direct reason for the account suspension is unacceptably high ratio of spam complaints that your campaigns have been generating over a period of time. Since GetResponse uses shared infrastructure to deliver emails for 250,000+ of our customers, the negative metrics generated by your campaigns have adversely affected our other customers and their email deliverability. As such, the decision was made to discontinue your service. The situation is unfortunate, however your account activity has dictated this response. My account was suspended without warning, I could not log in to see what they were complaining about, to which was difficult for me to understand, seeing as my course was free for everyone.

Our business makes it money from hosting websites, and mobile phone websites.

I think this is very un-professional and well blatenely disgusting that at any time without the right of response or appeal.. That everything you have been building and paying for I might add, can be taken away from you at anytime for any reason and you lose the lot!

I strongly urge you to re-consider, everything you are paying for is not safe, nor secure.

You could build a list of 400,000 to which you make your income from and the very next day it is gone.

I myself am going to take my business back to Aweber, as in the past 7 years I have never had anything like this happen to me.

I am truly disgusted, and will be seeking legal advice on this matter.

We are very sorry that we were forced to close

the GetResponse account, however we would not

do this without a good reason.

 

The email industry's acceptable level of complaints

is below 0.1% (the GetResponse terms of service state

this very clearly). The account generated a very high

rate of abuse reports, much above the limit.

 

Similar results may put the reputation of our service

in the jeopardy, that is why we are forced to suspend

users who generate spam complaints.

 

If you need the backup of your account, please

feel free to contact our GetResponse Compliance

Department, we will provide you with all the data,

but we can not agree to send more messages to your

list due to numerous spam complaints.

This Happened All In One Day???

Friday morning my span complaint waz zero (as I checked it daily), Saturday my account was closed. 

Getresponse has a low tolerance to this, well so do I.. I do not like paying for a service to have the rug pulled out from under me, without the option to log in and see this so called proof of spam complaints.

So all in one day, I got 0.1% complaint rate, and alleged abuse reports...

That I find very convienent for you, You could say the Queen asked you to do it, thats how much I trust your business...

I would like to place your attention to Google (US), search these keywords:

Getresponse scam (2nd spot)

Getresponse warning (2nd, 3rd & 5th position are mine)

Getresponse email marketing warning (Most of these are mine) 

getresponse email marketing (4th position)

getresponse marketing (2nd spot)

What you did to me and the way you did it, without even giving me the option of seeing these so called complaints is disgraceful beyond words.

My autoresponders were to teach people how to get free traffic, Now I am dedicating some staff members to help make aware any potential customers that are looking at your services, and who are smart enough to search for reviews - they will see what you have done to me, and most importantly of all how you did it. 

You claim to be good at email autoresponders, well I am good at getting top quality keywords to rank on Google..

You have the nerve to take my money, then wasted a lot of my time to which I will never get back.

My advice to any new customers to Getresponse, be very careful.. This could be you next!
