Gex Engines Not 1, but 2 BAD ENGINES! Pease don't buy from GEX Boonville Arkansas

When we first found Gex engines online it seemed to be a great deal. We bought our engine and had it shipped to Montana to get fixed. For the first few days the engine seemed great. Within a few days it began to leak. We were told this was expected with these engines, and not a big deal. everything seemed okay when we started it up at only 700 miles and heard sounds you do not want to hear. We took it in to a different mechanic in Colorado. He said that the engine had bad seals and that it would have to be sent back to Gex for repairs.
It took us about two months to get the engine sent in and returned. The second engine seemed better. It leaked oil like crazy, but seemed otherwise to be running fine.

We sent our warranty information in about two months ago and are still waiting to be reinbursed for some of the labor.

Two days ago our van through a rod. 1000 miles and one month past warranty. We have only had the van back for less than five months and it is sitting in our driveway unable to use.

When this happend my husband contacted them to let them know and see about out warranty money. Even though we have called them at least once a week fo the past two months we have yet to actually recieve anything. When my husband contacted Larry we were informed that we would only be recieving 341.00 of the 1300.00 it cost us to fix the engine the first time and of course will recieve nothing for this time.

Gex makes bad engines. One bad engine I can understand. This happened to us twice. Thousands of dollars spent and for nothing. We had a running van for a total of less than six months. We are a family of five that now has no car. We put everything into this engine and are left with no money, no car, and Gex could care less.
