GF services is a grant scam and you will never see that money Miami Florida

We heard about Gf services through some friends who found them online. They told us that we qualified for about 70,000 dollars for house renovations and pay off our debt back in June of 2007, and we would have our money by October of 2007. My husband is in the military and he was getting ready to deploy soon so we really were counting on this money to help us out because we were financially struggling, and even though we really did not have any money to spare we got together the 469.00 Well we called and spoke with them several times and since we were a bit cautious about all of this since it did sound too good to be true we called the "head of the company" they have a good story about how they have been there for seven years and they were very pleasant on the phone.We tried to be aware that it may be a scam so we checked it out on the better buisness bureau and found nothing on it. We also went as far as to call what we thought was a company that worked in the next building to them to see if we could find out anything. They said that they had used them and they were legit so we thought ok go for it and we did. Well its now a year and of coarse once that money went through about 2 months later they were gone and the phones were disconnected and never to be heard from again. My friend did it also and we both were contacting the police and basically they told us to talk to a lawyer but it was only $469.00 which means basically that its not enough to really go after because you would wind up paying more to a lawyer. So just a warning do not use them at all and my husband and I are a lot more cautious now.
