I have performed mystery shopping service for this company for a few years. Recently this company has failed to pay for shopping service due to a false allegation that the shopping report did not contain all of the required information or that I did not reply to the editor in a timely manner. The reports cannot be submitted if all of the required fields are not answered. Recently I have left several email and phone messages with the program coordinator and the editor but have not received any replies. I have always responded to all emails sent for additional information and submitted all reports correctly. This has happened on at least 4 shops in the same program. I have spoken to other shoppers in the area who have had the same experience. The company may be using the report and just not paying the shopper. Nevertheless, they have refused to return any of my calls. This was a great Mystery Shopper company until my recent experience with them. They have poor customer service in that I could never reach a live person during regular business hours. Use caution if you decide to sign up and perform shops with this company.

The previously reported issues with GFK Mystery Shopping Service have been resolved. Apparently there was a significant problem with the reporting software which caused errors that were charged to the shopper. This caused the editor to generate requests for clarification on reports that were actually completed accurately. However, I have been paid for all of the shops that I completed and the system is now working fine. It was great when I started performing shops for them and it seems they are back on track.
