Giftcardzen claims to offer a good giftcard buying experience.  With their 24 hour support system, it seems to be so. HOWEVER, I recently tried to do business with this company.  I called once before I placed my order to figure out the process, I myself having bought from almost every 3rd party gift card company there is on the internet wanted to know why they did not send the Ecodes to me right away.

 The customer service agent said that the sales team just left the office and that if I ordered now, they would call me first thing in the morning and I would have them.

 So, I placed my order, for over $1,300+, I get 3 emails from them at the same time.

 One accepting the charge. One saying the charge is going to be manually reviewed. Then one saying return, all at the same exact time, so I check my account and the money is gone.  At this point, I am very confused, so I wait to hear from them the next day. 

I did not hear from them all morning like I was lead on to believe I would.  I tried to call in to this 24 hour customer support line, I am met with a man who seems very confused at what is going on.  He says he will forward my message to the sales team when they get into the office they will call me.

I then waited hours,  I called again, this time I am met by a woman on the line saying the exact same line to me.  However, this time I am a bit more frustrated and I explain that I still have heard nothing back from them and was assured I would get my ecodes in a hassle free manner.  She says the exact same thing, she will forward the message to the sales team.

 WHY IS THIS SALES TEAM SO MYSTERIOUS AND IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A HOLD OF?

 It's simple, on my 3rd call I asked about this, because they were doing the normal run of the mill service, take my message and forward it to this mystery team who never calls. The woman kept saying how she was entry level support and could not do anything. So, let me get this straight, you have 24 hour support who cannot do anything?  Wow, I wish I would have known that prior!

 Moving on to the charge, I am NEVER called back, I receive an email from a random person at the company telling me that my refund was issued on the 25th and it takes up to 24 hours, I email this person back and told them that we were already at the 24 hour point when they sent the email, I never heard back.

 I woke up today with a POSTED charge on my account for the balance and no refund. So the company insists they did not charge me, but took the money and the transaction is posted to my account.

 I have went ahead and filed a dispute and hope to get my money back, not only is this company terrible in the way it presents itself and how it does business, but they are completely untrustworthy and unreliable.

 Please remember that there is a BIG difference between a PRE AUTHORIZATION and a CHARGE and this company did indeed CHARGE me and claimed they did REFUND me, but if they never charged me they would not have to do a refund as the pre authorization would fall off.  I even asked for them since they were holding my money to please call my merchant services and get it released, once again no response.

 They do not do what they say and they are not how they appear, they are actually the OPPOSITE!

Was contacted by the CEO and received an apology.  I appreciate the time taken, they are working now to get my money back in a timely manner.
