Gifted Hands Fencing and Remodeling Brian Jones Did Not Perform as Contracted and Refused to Come Back and Fix Issues Lake Dallas Texas

Brian was hired to remove carpeting, prep and paint walls and ceilings in two rooms.  Rooms were in bad shape and Brian did see them before accepting job and it was reviewed with him exactly what needed to be done. 

I purchased all the materials:  spackle compound, sanders, Kilz, primer, paint and rollers.  He removed the carpeting, but after finishing painting the walls, refused to put Kilz on the subfloor as agreed on.  He did not prep the walls at all.  He used the spackling compound but did not smooth it out or sand it and left globs on the wall.  He ran out of paint for touch ups and used a flat paint over the satin, so those touch ups stood out like a sore thumb.  He did only one coat, which might have been sufficient if he had used the primer, but he skipped this step entirely. 

I am a senior citizen on a limited income and this put a dent in my finances, but it had to be done.  Brian not only refused to come back and correct his mistakes, but he insulted us.  When I reminded him that he liberally uses bible quotes on his web site and on his truck, and that this wasn't a very Christian attitude, he threatened me in a text, saying he would sue me for slander!  I would characterize his texts as bullying.  He never came back and, frankly, I don't ever want him in my home again, but I would at least like a partial refund.
