This company comes across as a corporate giant when it comes to either structural steel erection and or contractors who perform JOC (Job Order Contracts).

The truth is that GRG Commercial is a shell operation of Gil Ramirez Sr. multiple companies in which he funnels money from one company to another in order to offset his massive debt that has been aquired over years and years of bad investments in the home building industry.

You never know what you get with them from one day to another. If it's a Monday, they are a JOC General Contractor, on Tuesday, they might be a home builder, on Wednesday, they claim to be a steel erector (yet they do not know a thing about steel) and on the remaining days of the week, they are just plain ol' crooks looking for their next victim.

The bottom line is that they have burned subcontractors, vendors and clients on every job that they've performed on. They owe employees hundreds of thousands in wages yet they challenge each employee to file a legal claim knowing that they wouldn't because 90% of them are illegal. GRG also like to use it's so called minority or HUB status in order to validate it's claim as a legitimate company but this is another smoke and mirror effect by Gil Ramirez Sr. in hopes to bring in more money for himself.

BEWARE to those GC's and other clients doing business with these guys. If you choose to award them a contract as we made the mistake in doing so, then require that every project be bonded and secure with a letter of credit from a recognized bank totally the contract amount. Also, request certified payroll so that there is an assurance towards payroll being met. One last request would be for them to validate their number by explaining their plan of action once mobilization has been given the go ahead. They always seem to be 50% lower than the real steel erectors out there like Sonny, Lucky, Palmer, Steelmasters, Empire, Ram and Fast Track.
