Gilbert Henry Text Scam attempting to have me pay another event vendor on his behalf Internet

I received a text from this person, asking for my services in photographing a 6-hour event in 2 weeks. He claimed he is hearing impaired and unable to speak on the phone. On hearing my prices and conditions, he indicated he would send his credit card information to me to make the required deposit, but then asked, "regarding the event planner fee which I will be needing as well on my credit card hope you can help me with this as well right."

I had my serious doubts, but when I read this, I did a web search and found that this same name has attempted similar scams. He offered the email address and even a local address in the stream of the conversation. One thing that first created my concern was that certain parts of his message appeared to have been sent repeatedly, as if a real person were not doing it, or something else was wrong.

When I learned that this was offically a scam, I told him not to contact me again.
