Mr. Gillaspie was under contract to install interior stairs in our home. The contractual agreement was payment in 3rds. We honored this. However, the stories of his legal battles soon arose, broken down vehicles and leaving by 3pm was the norm. Being human, we paid him weekly to help ease the pain and suffering. We had a death in our family which delayed getting the work done on time by a week. We had weather delays, but with the work being done indoors, I don’t agree with weather as an excuse. A 3-4 week job (promised by Mr Gillaspie) turned in to 8-10 weeks. We have not heard from him and the work has not been completed. I have started the completion myself. My wife and I are not seniors, but I recently had quadruple bypass surgery and feel I could’ve done this myself if my health was better. Several attempts were made to reach Mr Gillaspie. Last text conversation between us; I explained to him my unhappiness and what I expect in a way of a reimbursement. I’m so disappointed in this company for not fulfilling his obligations.
