FOX 6 investigative reporter John Mattes first broke the story how Girls Gone Wild was marketing videos for only $9.99 consumers found the company tacking on huge fees. Thousands of consumers called it a rip-off on ripoffreport. After our story aired an attorney sued calling it deceptive advertising. Video part 1 Video part 2

Like everyone else who is complaining about this company, I ordered what I thought was two videos for $9.99 from their web site. Nowhere, either on the TV ads or web site, was it made clear that by doing so you were enrolling in a program that automatically sends and charges for more videos from then on.

I sent a cancellation email through their web site, and got an error message back the next day that they didn't receive it because their "mailbox was full." However, I then started receiving porn spam so obviously they did receive it, and sold it to other pornography sites.

To prevent them from making any more charges I cancelled my credit card and got a new one reissued under a new number. Most credit cards will let you do this.

But don't stop there! File a complaint with the California State Attorney General's office. Go to this link: http://caag.state.ca.us/consumers/mailform.htm
Fill out the Consumer Complaint Form. It took several weeks, but I got a response. If enough of us do this, maybe we can get them shut down!
