 Sorry, i m non-native english speaker, so excuse my approximate english.

I went there to buy a car advertised on their online website. I told them I was going to finance through my credit union, i just needed to check the car availability, have confirmation of the online price and get the final price after all taxes and fees. they said even though i had an approval from my credit union, i needed to sign some papers to autorize them to run my credit before they gave me more information. i told them i already knew my credit score because i pay equifax every month to monitor my credit, so i had a very recent printed record of my credit score, and i wanted them to use the score i gave them to give me an estimate of the final price. they said the law did not authorize them to do it this way and i had to fill all the paperwork including my SSN, DOB and everything before they give me any information. i filled their paperworks and signed, waited 15 mn to get the final price on the kia sportage (or sorento, i am not sure because i targeted those 2 cars at that time). the financial manager called me in his office and told me he got a good financing offer for me, and the fabulous rate (according to him) of 9%, and then finally gave me the bottom line price which i don t remember but i know it ws tricky with so many fees. I politely refused their offer. 2 weeks later, I begun to receive daily mails from financial companies and banks saying that their received my request from giuffre for a car loan and i was not accepted. more than 10 letters i got. AND GUESS WHAT: after that, my credit score dropped of 50 points within a few weeks. that was a year ago (january 2012) and i m still struggling to fix my credit score
