Gizmos2go, Aka Etechtronics shipped merchandise after order was cancelled San Gabriel California

I ordered a computer part from the company but received an email that the item was out of stock and the order was cancelled. I then ordered and received the item from another company. After about 2 weeks, I received an email that my order from Gizmos2go was completed. I tried several times to cancel the order before it shipped using their required website method but all my messages were returned as undeliverable. I believe they intentionally make it impossible to cancel orders.

When I received the item from the cancelled order, I immediately returned the item in the unopened original box. I then filed complaints with the California Attorney General and with my credit card company. The company first refused to issue a refund but finally issued a partial refund. My credit card company refunded the rest. In the company's response to the Attorney General office, they said they had issued me a full refund and that they tried to contact me to return the item on delivery. Both these statements were lies.

I believe the company makes money by shipping items that were not ordered, making it impossible for customers to cancel the orders before shipment, and then issuing partial refunds on returned merchandise. The company engages in systematic dishonest business practices.
