In 2016, we hired Lawrence Balerio of GJ Gardner Homes, GJ, CO (aka Envision Builders, LLC, High Grade Concrete) to repair our home in Grand Junction. We knew we had foundation problems resulting from cracked walls, doors that wouln't close, etc...
We had an estimate from a foundation repair company - a competitor of GJ Gardner. However, Lawrence told us that he had three other engineers evaluate the work and in their professional opinion, his comapny could do the work AND provide us with a 2 year warranty for inside damage and a 10 year foundation warranty. He estimated the work would take about 6 months.
Over the course of 2 years, we paid over $80,000. When it came to place the warranty in effect - no warranty. Our house is still in need of repair and Lawrence refuses to live up to the contract - no warranty is in place.
Here is the bottom line. We are suing GJ Gardner and all other business entitie for fraud and breach of contract.

In keeping to my word, I want to make it known here that Lawrence Balerio did indeed provide a warranty to us. This was done after much prodding and nagging by us. Let it also be known, that in so doing, the warranty we received from the warranty company was NOT the same warranty brochure we were given by Lawrence. The coverage is markedly different.
Nota Bene: Note well the warranty given to you that it matches the work he is performing for you. Please do not allow this to happen to you.
