A monthly charge of $29.95 began appearing on my credit card, which I did not authorize, but thought perhaps my spouse did, so I did not immediately check it out. ( He did not authorize it either). I do not recall ever reasing or requesting service subscriptions from the billing company.
When I called the number listed on my statement (855-331-9531) to cancel and ask for a refund, I found that this number appears to be for a credit reporting service. (or perhaps part of the scam?? The first time I called I was mysteriously discoonected as soon as I asked for cancellation and refund; the second time they asked for a lot of info to try to locate my account (name, phone number, email account) which sounded legit but.....
When I went online to check out the listed website, I saw several other Ripoff Reports for this company describing the same scam they pulled on me. Gldsvc.com may be a legit company but GLD*SVCGS.com is not! I want to see these kind of bogus operators, who rip off thousands of dollars by preying on unsuspecting consumers investigated and permanently shut down...
I am hoping Ripoff Report help inform others AND help fight these scumbags!
