GlencoreLeads Glencore, Jack Banks, Mark Miller, Pat Ocean Promised 3200+ leads and delivered about 800, most of them invalid Internet

I received an unsolicited email from this company advertising 50% discount until end of April 2014. I didn't mind it because I was looking for a list of certain businesses at that time. I contacted them and their sales person Jack Banks answered my call. He assured me he had 3,247 qualifying business locations. I paid them $309.11 to get this list. Pat Ocean from this company emailed me the list a few days later. The CSV file appeared to have over 3000 records. So I thought it looked okay. But upon closer look, I found that many many of these were duplicates. When I de-duped them, I found I was down to 800 or so. But that's not all. I had someone make some phone calls to about 50 of these and she found that over half of them were invalid!

I contacted Pat Ocean again. He called me back a few days later and left a message. I called him back and left a message. We played phone tag for a few days. After that Pat sent me an email saying the list provided to me was accurate. I replied and explained to him the issue again. No response. Again, I called a few times and left messages. Mark Miller was also involved from their side. He and I exchanged emails. A week or so later, Pat sent me another email saying the list was to exact specifications.

There was no interest in understanding the issue and moreover there appered to be a hostile confrontational nature to the interaction. During this entire episode, I had lost over a month of valuable time. I went ahead and bought the list from another source. I requested them for a refund and of course no response from them.
