Globa-Sun, Pools-Blue, World Pools ripoff Carson City Nevada

I want to make sure that there is as many reports on this company for consumers to see befor buying from this company. We too, were victims.

We called the 800 number from the ad on TV. They do make convincing commercials. We called the middle of June in 2003. The salesperson made the appt. the 1st of July. We thought it sounded great. But like they say, if it is to good to be true, it probably is.

She told us the pool would be installed in 2 weeks. Of course it wasn't installed for 6 weeks. We tried to cancel the contract within the 3 days but Global Sun pools made sure that was impossible.

They told us the reason for the platt of our land was to make sure we did indeed own the property. NOT! It was to put a lien on our property.

There is suppose to be a lifetime "Manufacture Warranty" on the liner.What does that mean?

I took it as it says. If there is a defect in liner, it would be replaced. The pool was installed Aug. 14th 2003. I called to report liner leaking Aug. 15th 2003.

Mr. Jim Harris is the person I contacted. He acted very concerned at first. Then he said he would send pool installer (Mr. Bob Giann) back out to check it.

After not hearing anything or getting my phone calls returned by Mr. Harris, I wrote a letter to Mr. Jon Corbone. (suppose to be vice president.) I sent it to Nevada address, but Mr. Jim Harris is the one that recieved it in Atlanta. Or whereever he works out of.

Mr. Jim Harris is the most disrepectful and arrogant person I have ever encountered in my life. He practically called me a liar. He did however, promise me a new liner but since the business was closed for the winter, it would the next spring (2004).

Next Spring of 2004 I started calling again with no one calling me back. My husbsnd then called and talked with Jim Harris, He was just as arrogant with him as he was with me.

Mr. Harris hung up on him after a few names were called. Jim Harris is a big man behind a telephone in another state and with poor unsuspecting women he talks to on the phone.

So again I started calling to get this problem resolved. I took pictures of the soupy yard, I let Mr. Harris know that each time I talk to him, it would be recorded. He called again and promise us a new liner, but again they were closed for the winter and it would have to be this spring (2005).

When Spring got here, we called pool installer and again Jim Harris lied. He did not send liner and now he says we have had the pool too long for them to honor their warrenty. And I called to report it in less than 24 hours that it was installed.

We have been scammed by this company. Nothing they tell you is the truth. Hey Global Sun Pools or the now Blue World Pools, I hear it is hot in Iraq, Why don't you move there and sell to them, because you are no better to your fellow Americans Than Saddam was to them.

I have my pictures of my yard that I am sending to the news stations in my area to let them know to get the word out about this company. I have also noticed that they aren't advertised as much as they use to be. Maybe progress has begun to get this company out of business.

I also personally let everyone I can know that it is a ripoff. Word of mouth might help alot. And to that Michael that is always answering the rebuttals, it seems you keep asking people to take your company to court. Since I have found out that your company has so many lawyers that work for you I know I cannot win with all the loopholes and would be wasting my money, I will just keep telling people what a dishonest company you work for and cut my losses.
