Bought 2007 VW Jetta from this guy on 2/24/14. He said only thing car needed was maybe some brakes. Advertised as Cold A/C and Immaculate vehicle. A/C didn't work but said he thought it was just that it needed a charge. Took to Masters Automotive on Hwy 41 in Marietta to inspect and they too gave clean bill saying only needed freon from what they could see. The owner of the garage knew the owner of this companythough but they were they only people we could find to look at the vehicle. They too said that car was in great shape. Fast forward 5 days and now the car is at MY mechanic who immediately noticed that the car had been wrecked, the A/C high pressure hose was pushed back and sitting on the Drive belt which was about to break. The brakes were metal on metal along with long list of other issues that must be addressed. Right now looking at over $4500 in repairs for this IMMACULATE VEHICLE. This guys is not honest and I do not advice you buy anything from him without taking it to you OWN personal mechanic far away from the Marietta / Hwy 41 area. Car fax was clean so this car was fixed without reporting it but the moment my mechanic opened the hood he saw all the damage that hadn't been repaired. I suggest that you look for your car elsewhere and save yourself a big headache mentally and financially. I am devastated that we were ripped off like this after we did everything possible to avoid just this happening.

How was your issue resolved? I’m currently having problems with this dealer but especially my car. The check engine light came on the same night I got the car. It shuts off in the middle of me driving and all and I can’t get the dealer to respond to my calls. Please contact me if you can!

we did a test drive and all seemed fine. The a/c blew but was warm and when questioned he said he hadn't noticed it. We then went to a mechanic across the street from the shopping center we met him at as they were the only people who we coulde get the car in to and he also gave it a clean bill of health but he seemed to know the guy who was selling the car. Should have run then but didn't think that a Garage would purposely lie about a car to help someone make a sale

How did the brakes and air conditioning perform during the test drive?
“we did everything possible to avoid just this happening”
What did you do to avoid this? The best thing you could have done was pay a small fee to a trusted mechanic to check out the car before purchase. Happy motoring!
