Global Connections Telelphone Service We get their customers' complaints on our 800 number Atlanta Georgia Internet

Our report of being ripped-off is probably quite different from most that you receive. We are a multi-cultural book & international handcraft business in Independence, Missouri, with the name, "Global Connections," registered in Missouri. We carry our wares to conferences of music & foreign language teachers all over the United States, & have a web page & 800 number for our customers to use. The way we are being ripped off is that dozens of their customers are using our 800 number to call with their complaints, their requests to start, restart, or discontinue service. Every call costs us money, which is the least of our worries--the major inconvenience is the time it takes for us to answer those calls & to convince their customers we are not the Global Connections that furnishes their phone service. In most cases, the customer has called the service "Free411" & has been given our 800 number. This indicates that the phone company has not provided their customers with the proper numbers to contact them, & is probably very happy to let their customers vent their wrath on us. I have several times been called a liar, & twice have had to convince FBI agents who called that we are not the Atlanta Global Connections they were investigating.
