I recently purchased a ring from eBay from a company called Global Diamond Co user ID globaldiamondco.  I and my fiancé have been shopping around for several months for a perfect engagement ring. Although our budget was not that high we were looking for the best deal possible. We looked at several stores in our area and then we came across Global Diamond Co on eBay. They advertised a “GIA Certified 2.45ct Emerald Cut Diamond Engagement Ring VS 18K white gold for $5500”. I thought to myself wow what a great deal. Could it be? A d, Vs c. color GIA certified diamond ring for $5500.  Similar rings were being sold for $11000 and my budget was right around $5000. I went to a jewelry store in town and asked them if it was possible to get such a good deal. They told me it sounds too good to be true and most likely I would not get what I ordered. I continued to debate with them and said they were wholesale buyers. They told me that these prices do not get offered and I would be taking a risk. Against the advice I received, I decided to call the company. I talked to a person by the name of Nathan. I asked him several questions one being why the price was so low. He told me “this is a GIA certified diamond ring and we would love the color and quality. They said the same ring was being sold for triple anywhere else and they are able to give me this price only because they are importers and buy cheaper than anyone else in the Industry” I asked what guarantee I have and would I be able to return the ring if I had it checked and the information was not accurate. He claimed that I would not have any issue. I could return the ring and get all my money back. I placed an order and waited over a week to get my ring.

After I received the ring the stones appeared to be very small and had obvious color. I called Nathan and expressed my concerns. He told me that even D color Gia has color and there was no diamonds in the World that had no color unless it was cubic zircon. He continued to claim what a nice ring I had received and I was very lucky to have found him. I was very skeptical about the information that I received so I took the ring into the store that I went to prior of placing my order with global diamond co. They looked at my ring and expressed several concerns. They said the center Gia diamond measurements did not match the Gia certificate and the color was not D rather J color. I immediately called Nathan and told him I wanted to send the ring back for a full refund. He told me first I cannot return the ring because it was Gia and they did not accept returns on Gia Diamonds. Then after I told him that I would call my credit card company and place a dispute on the charges he changed his words and tried to make me pay a re-stocking fee for his error. I made it very clear that I would not pay a re-stocking fee and his business motto was horrible. I demanded him to send a shipping label a so that I could send back this piece of junk to him and he flat out refused. At this time he proceeded to get very hostile and make ridiculous accusation and get personal. I and my fiancé were beside ourselves with shock and disbelief. I could not believe what a crook he was and how his personality changed.

I was then forced to pay $165 to send this ring back that was obviously not what I ordered or expected to receive. The package was attempted to be delivered two days later and guess what he refused the package. What a jerk!! After all this stress and harassment I was forced to pay another $25 to re-attempt delivery.

I did get my money back after wasting almost three weeks and $200 down the drain for no reason.  I should have figured there was something wrong from buying a ring from a seller that had mostly feedback selling coins and other cheap junk. Next time I will definitely go to a store or at least buy from a more reputable seller which has feedbacks selling actual rings. After doing some more research I realized that this company is selling his crap using two other names. One is temo615 and the other is bigdreamssam. My advice to anyone reading this message is to stay away. Do not get fooled into doing business with this crook.

False Claim

Hi, I was just informed by a customer trying to purchase something from my ebay account about this review. After reading this review I am 100% sure this is a frauduent review of my account. For one this user Pam941 has never purchased anything from me. Second, all our rings come with free return, for 100% satifaction to all our customers. We have a possitive rating on ebay, with reviews left by real customers. This review was written by a competitor to try to ruin my busniess. Also the other ebay user names on the list have nothing to do with my company. Maybe he made purchases from them, but why bring me into it. Also he mentioned that he wsa help by a nathan when contacting us, i do not know anyone by that name. For one all ebay users report all problems to ebay and paypal refunds the customer right away. secondly, all ebay buyers have the option to review the seller on ebay. I think this is fraud and if you do not remove this review I will be forced to take legal actions.

Hello,

My name is David Levi and I am the owner of Globaldiamondconpany. This is a complete LIE. If this customer was so upset why did she not leave us a negative feedback on eBay. I have never sold a ring to this customer. We offer FULL refund to any customer that is not happy with our product. We are a TOP RATED seller on eBay with 100% positive feedback. I will prove to everyone reading this that this person never bought a thing from us. We have a automated program on eBay that leaves a positive feedback (right away) for anyone that buys from us. If you look at this person's eBay account, you will notice that we never left a feedback for this person, again, because he or she never bought from us. You can look for yourself PAM941 is her user id. THIS IS COMPETITOR trying to ruin our reputation. I should not even be on here defending myself, you should be ASHAMED of yourself PAM941
