Global Discovery Vacations Misleading and dishonest----Not what it is represented to be Overland Park Kansas

We went to a sales presentation in Septermber 08. The hook was FREE airline tickets. We bought into this program. It is not a good deal, stay away!!! To get our FREE airline tickets we had to contact the company four or five times. When we got the paperwork for them we found out that they are virtually useless. You must pay $50 each for a processing fee for these FREE tickets, then pay other taxes and services fees, we don't know how much this would be. We were told at the presentation that the tickets were for Tuesday, Thursday departures, but they are only for Tuesday departures and no Sunday returns. They cannot be used a week before major holidays which they identify as Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Easter, Spring Break, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah, and New Years. Mapping this out on a calandar, we found that they could be used one week in January, one week in February, not at all in March or April (spring break) two weeks in May, three weeks in June, three weeks in July, most of August, two weeks in Septermer and one and one half weeks in October, and nothing in November and December. You must pick three departure dates that are 30 days apart, using only Tuesdays. They also want a copy of your drivers licence.
Global's travel program requires a 10 time period to book a vacation. Once it is booked it, you cannot cancel and recieve your processing fee of $119 to $189 back. We don't like what they have to offer and they won't let us cancel. They have only a 3 day cancellation policy. STAY AWAY!!!! It is a big waste of money.
