Stay away from Global Distribution Services. Do not drive for them. Do not work for them. You will not be paid.
Global Distribution Services touts itself as a trucking broker with years of experience. The company hires owner-operators to pick up and deliver goods, fully knowing that they will not pay for the services. GDS knowingly put fake names on 2, different rate confirmations. They also promised to pay for the shipments, and never did. Over and over again the company promised that they had sent payment for services. Each time this promise was false.
This may be be part of a double-brokering scam. Also, the company admitted that they float their accounts receivables and don't have enough in their bank accounts to pay the owner-operators who deliver for them.
Our company had to sue GDS LLC for non-payment. They were properly served and failed to respond. They didn't respond to requests for a settlement, either. A default judgment was issued against them on August 20, 2018. They have not been sent to a collections agency.
