Timeshare owners do not do business with Global Equity USA. Global Equity Network is the same company. This has to be the most clever scam ever. Sounds too good to be true and it is! You are told you will receive a favorable amount for your timeshare because the "corporate" wants to buy it to convert it to points. You are also told they will pay everything, even give you all maintenance fees back. As a "formality" you have to pay $1,000. that will immediately be returned to you along with the entire selling cost. Ha! It will NEVER happen! Do not fall for it. If you are smart and cancel this transaction before signing anything and within the 3 Day Right to Rescind they will still try to keep your money. You have to file a report with the BBB, dispute the amount with your credit card company, contact NAAG (National Association of Attorneys General), and contact the Consumer Reports. You will receive help from each of these places and they will advise you accordingly. If you have a fixed week timeshare DO NOT SELL IT. Everyone is trying to convert to points and your "fixed" week is very valuable. Don't get suckered out of it by companies such as Global Equity USA. Keep it and enjoy your hassle free week of not having to count points like those who have gotten scammed. Make sure when you travel you alert all other owners about Global Equity USA or Global Equity Network.
