Global Eye Glasses Charge, ship defective product, and ignore customer, do not respond, do not refund, do not replace. Mableton Georgia

My complaint deals with eyeglasses with Global Eye Glasses company now based in Mabletown, GA. I ordered a pair of prescription eye glasses from this company in September 2008. They shipped the order after an unreasonable delay.

However, the lenses were not correct. They did ot get the cylindirical and axis measurements right. I shipped the order back for correction. After weeks of delay they shipped the eye glasses back to me, this time too they were not only not correct medically but also the design of the right and left lenses (in a rimeless frame) in the same eyeglasses were different (go figure!).

After that it was all down hill. I was still willing to send them back for correction. I contacted the company multiple times by email, but could not get any response. I filed a report with the Atlanta BBB to investigate the and mitigate, but the company did not respnd to the BBB as well. I still have the eyeglasses I could not use and the company does not respond to my inquiries.

I guess, after they got the money, they just did not care. I would like to warn future customers that they should be very carefull in dealing with this company. I was ripped off, and I do not want anybody else to be ripped off by them.
