Global Financial Credit Card scam, recieved package, totally decieved Georgia

My husband recieved a phone call in December of 2002 from Global Financial offering coupons for free gas, groceries,trips and a credit card with a limit of $2500. It was be here in 2 weeks. We called after 4 weeks, it was processed and should be here soon. We finally recieved the pack February 25, 2003. The credit card was accually a secured card, you had to open an account and deposit money, whatever you deposited was your credit limit, up to $2500.

THe coupons were bogus cents off not free. We called told them we were not satisfied with the whole deal. They said we could send it back priority mail for full refund. We mailed it back March 24, 2003 and still have not recieved anything. If someone has a different phone number for this company could you please let us know. We are a family with 6 children, talk about tight money.

We thought with the name of this company it had to be on the level, boy were we wrong. We do not give our account out for something until we can see the product in our hand. Telemarketers can mail us information then we will decide. Very expensive lesson learned on this one, the old saying is true, if sounds too good to be true it probably is.
