Global Financial - Global Financial Trust and Services tried to rip me off Windsor Colorado

They sent me a letter and a check of $3200.00 (which looked real) and said I had won a sweepstake of $50,000 and needed to sent them taxes western union or money gram. It was suspicious because the envelope did not have a businness address or return address at all, the signature and printed name did not match, the answering services sounded fake and I didnt understand why they would want me to pay taxes when they get paid somewhere else and why wouldnt it be taken out already. There was no way I was gonna give them any account information of mine anyways. The check did look real, the first thought I had was to go cash it (not deposit!) and I started thinking what I could do with the money I had won when I received it. I guess the only thing that could have happened was feel really stupid at the bank when they told me that it was fake. But I thought I would check it out online and Im glad I did. I shoulda known I wouldnt be that lucky! I hope no one ever sends anyone any money withought trying your best to make sure its real.
