In the month of March the 4th, 2018 i had filed a complaint to global internet fortunes(company) through their contact page. Before that happened i had been invited by a friend to register under Global Internet Fortunes so that i may be able to partake in the business. The registration fee was 4500 Kenya shillings and one has to pay that inorder to become an official member of the company and to be able to buy web hosting space.
I paid for registration(only) through Mpesa(from Safaricom). The companys' paybill number is 623688 and their transaction ID is MC33282LLT. This labelled me as a free member who has still not purchased any webhosting space which is one of the products they offer.
Once my money was confirmed by Mpesa that it had been received by the company, i then proceeded to the website where i signed in my account and deposited my money in the system. [continued below]....
Due to personal issues(school fees) i decided not to buy webhosting space which is the only way to activate your account. I then wanted a refund of my money since the money was still in the system. I thought this was impossibe but when i went through their refund policy which is at the footer of their website they stated that money cannot be refunded once somebody activates their account by buying webhosting space.
As i mentioned before i did not purchase any webhosting space or register any domain name hence my money is still in the system, untouched and unused. I am still a free member. Once i realised this, i sent them a complaint through their contact page twice and also a final warning just recently. After they failed to respond to me even after several days i then called this number +254 710691837 which i found on google if you search for the companys' information such as their physical adress.
When i contacted +254 710691837 i explained to her/him my issue through whatsapp messanger. He/she read it and told me that i am actually correct, i am still a free member and that i have not gone against the refund policy which has been stated by the website. He/she then sent me the CEO's telegram username which is @KimathiKamundeh so that i can express my grievances to him.
I sent the CEO two messages of which he had read(as indicated by telegram) but totally ignored. He has been online but has continued to ignore my messages.
That is the problem i have. I sent them $45 and registered as a free member. I requested a refund of my money but i received no reply from them only an auto-generated message sent to my e-mail telling that they have received my request and will provide feedback after 24 hours. I contacted the CEO but i was totally ignored. I tried getting help from some of the members of the company but all of them told me that they cannot help me.
Please help me, i don't know what to do.It has been 6 days since this happened and i have not been able to complete payment of my school fees in college. Our country does not have a cybercrime unit and i had nobody to help me with this issue. Please help.
