I also received one of these letters and checks dated November 24, 2006. Ticket Number 077566 for $120,000.00 US dollars credited to file: ZZTE508-22/A1. I also received a check made out to me for $1998.00.

Yes the check does look real. The "mis-spells" that were mentioned are not really spelled wrong for Canada or europe. And since this The letter was postmarked in Canada....

I am glad I checked on the internet first. I was going to call this company since there was a phone nuimber on the check itself to see what was up with this.

They say anytime someone asks for money up front to receive winnings from a sweepstakes or lotto it is a hoax.
