We received a letter today that made our heart skip a beat. It was from Global-link lotto. The letter told us in detail of how we won $120,000.00, and included a check for $1998.00 to help with the taxes and services. I was thrilled! My husband was skeptical and said we should check it out before we deposit the check... Thank god I listened to him!!! I found all of these rip off reports.
We have 3 children and it is X-mas time. If we had deposited that check and it bounced, our kids would not only miss out on X-mas, but probably would be sleeping in the street.
To those of you that reported this before me, thank you so much! To those of you that are reading this and have the same letter, Get it known to everyone that you can so that these people can't get away with this anymore!! And if the person who is sending these letters is reading this, SHAME ON YOU!!!
I hope you get just what is coming to you. A nice long prison sentance!

Google "scam baiting" and get tips on how to beat them at their own game. Lead them on, make them waste a lot of time, make them run around to Western Union, the bank, etc. You can even get them to go to the airport and hold up a silly sign to meet you, their supposed mark.
Teach those con men a lesson!

That phone number is in Canada, specifically Nova Scotia. If they get caught in Canada, they'll do Kindergarten time. You want them charged by the US authorities.
File a complaint online at FTC.gov.
The FBI and Canada's RCMP are working together to catch these guys. You can read about a recent arrest if you search "sundip dhanda" on Google or on the FBI website. When they are caught, I'm sure you'd rather see them get US jail time and financial penalties, rather than the pretend "get out if you comb your hair" sentences given out in Canada.
I'm glad you checked it out first.
