I have just encountered using Global Tel Link and have been massively RIPPED OFF BY EXACERBATED CHARGES that have to be absolutely illegal. All US prisons that are using their service are receiving millions of dollars in kickback money from this companie's outrageous fees.
Charge for one call in Alameda County Sheriff's Department $15.85 plus a $4.75 transaction fee making ONE CALL $20.60. The minimum amount that can be put on the account is $25.00, so it looks like they have it set up to daily steal people's unused money because of the refund policy.
Refund Policy--The company then also gets to steal any balance below $6.00 from you because to get a refund of your unused money as THEY CHARGE A $5.00 REFUND CHARGE. So if I have a balance of $5.00 or below they get to steal it from me. They are being allowed to legally defraud and steal from their so called customers. It's time to take this company down, people.
