Global Vantedge Phone Scam Phishing for Personal and Credit Information Internet

We had never heard of Global Vantedge until they started calling in the last couple of weeks. Upon deciding to answer the phone today, the company representative started by wanting to only speak to my wife, and not myself.

Upon getting her on the phone, Nick (who spoke with a middle-eastern accent) wanted to confirm her street address. He provided an incorrect address. Once she told him, 'No, that's not us' a second person came on the phone and told her she has a bank account with Credit One (we don't have any accounts with Credit One) and want her to give her full social security number and contact information over the phone.

When she told them 'No, this sounds like a scam to me', both people raised their voices and firmness, insisting she provide the information to them. She told them not to call back. When she finally handed the phone to me they were yelling at her over the phone. I told them to not to call back or they would hear from our attorney and promptly hung up.

They have called back at least three more times this morning since the above incident.
