I bought a car off (2003 Volkswagon New Beetle Convertible) off of eBay and was completely defrauded and scammed from a man who used the ebay username: autotowncars.  He listed he was selling the vehicle through his dealership Globe Trading Financing Inc. He goes by the name Taik.  His real legal name acquired by law enforcement is Ignatios Kazoglou. This man scammed me and is a theif and liar as well as a lot of unholy things I am not willing to say on here.

I called eBay before mailing my cashier's check to him to make sure I was protected if anything wasn't right.  I paid him using paypal with a credit card for a deposit and then with a cashier's check for the full payment. He wanted feedback before the car shipped which seemed sketchy to me so I notified eBay. Of course I didn't do that. I instead drove over 15 hours from my house in Maryland to his dealership in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ad said the car was in excellent condition.  That was completely false.

Someone had to jump the car to start it, it was overheating and leaking coolant everywhere, the brakes were shot, and it felt as thought it was going to fall apart.  It is a complete lemon car. I called law enforcement they came out told me this was a civil matter.  I called law enforcement back out because my aunt told me about buyers remorse but this apparently does not exist on used cars in the state of Florida. At least this time I got the police officer to give me the guy's legal name as he was withholding that information from me.

He told law enforcement because I had called them twice to his business it was not good.  I wanted no trespassing on me so that I could not come back.  The police told me if I did I could be arrested.

The next day I was looking at the title and realized he never signed as buyer from Carmax but signed as seller to me.  He bought the car from Carmax they signed as seller but he never signed as purchaser.  It was like he sold me something he did not even technically own.  I took the title up to a tag and title company and they said I would not be able to get tags like that.  They said I needed him to sign that area.

So I go up to the police station and tell the officer what is going on.  He again tells me it is a civil matter.  I told him I just need an offier to go with me up there to his business so I can ask him to sign the title so I can at least resell the piece of junk and take a loss or I could get it fixed eventually and tagged.  I told them I was worried about the no trespassing and that is why I wanted an officer to accompany me.  They would not.  The officer told me they have 298 officers in the town and everyone does things their own way so there was a 50/50 chance of me being arrested.

So I went back up to the dealership with my mother and I asked him to please fix it.  He took the title and read over it.  I still had not signed it yet either.  He looked at me with the title in his hand and told me I had to leave his property now or I would be arrested.  He KEPT the title.  He literally stole it.

eBay can not help me they claim.  They told me to call my local motor vehicle administration.  I did that.  I called them and they told me that without a title I can not do anything.  There is no exception to this they say.

So I am stuck with a broke down lemon vehicle that I can not fix and tag nor can I resell and take a loss.  I have his picture and his name and I want to help other people to avoid this man and his dealership.  I notified the attorney general in Florida as well the Florida Governor.

I need help getting the word out to avoid this man and I need help trying to get him prosecuted for this.  I do not have the moeny to hire an attorney.  I have contacted several to see if any will take this on a contingency basis.  So far no luck. I have proof of everything.  I have proof of my cashier's check and emails from him as well as texts.

He is a CROOK and SCAM ARTIST.  AVOID him and his company if you are buying a car.  He also seems to have or had another company Autotown Inc. in Hollywood, FL.  His ebay username is autotowncars and his dealership name is Globe Trading Financing Inc. located at 737 N. Andrews Ave. located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  His facebook for his dealership is under GLOBE Financing.
