We bought a Great Dane off of Mellissa Shivelyon 10-12-2007. We were promised AKC Ownership ofour Great Dane, even got awrittenpuppy/dog contractfrom her.Wespoke with Mellissa & she told us that she would send us the paper work shortly after we spoke, we then had to contact her again & she said that she had lost our address, butpromised to sendit again. Our Great Dane is now 3 yrs. old & we still have not received any paper work. This womanwas untruthful about giving us AKC Paperwork& now has changed the name of her company.I would not recommend anyone to dealwith Mellissa Shively. She use to be GreaterDanes2004.com. She said she was in the process of moving to Virginia & we have lost contact with her. No forwarding address or phone number can be found. If anyone knows how to contact her, please leave us a message here.

There are several reports of this breeder not sending AKC papers and selling sick puppies. As of October 2010 she was still living in PA....we got our puppy earlier in 2010 and we never got papers either and several of the pups from the litter have demodex mange. If you ever get a phone number or some way to reach her - please share!
