GMH Club BBU Check Fraud Silver Springs, Nevada

Like many others over the last few weeks, I noticed an odd bank draft on 2/14/11 in the amount of $29.97.  I obtained a copy of the check from my credit union today and have since found all of you with the exact same problem.

I don't pay many bills online that require my account/routing numbers but my mortgage is one of them

The check has my name but incorrect address.

The pay to address is the same as all the others but the business name is different this time, listed as "GMH Club".

I don't think it will do you any good to call the customer service number on the check....not a good idea.

Too late on a Friday afternoon to do much about this yet.  My credit union was not helpful at first but sent me an affidavit and asked me to file a police report.

I guess next week I will spend countless hours trying to get my money back, closing my bank account, reordering new checks, reevaluating how I pay my bills online, etc, etc, etc

Hope they catch these people soon and hope I can get my account straight before they attempt to draft it again.

Has anyone been drafted twice by these crooks yet??????
