Ordered what I thought was a free trail of Acai Berry Edge and was charged for shipping only on Jan. 12. 2009. Received full order instead of a sample and there was no invoice in the envelope. Saw 3.97 charge for shipping charged under the name of Acai Berry Edge.
April 23, 2009 I had a voice mail saying I owed 79.90 for the Berry Edge to GNS. Caller did not leave a contact number and I had to find their web site by going to Google and looking up acronyms. Finally found an 800 number to call. After several calls and a threatening letter from their legal dept.
I never knew that this company was called GNS until getting this call. The CS rep I finally was able to talk to said they also have the name Nutra Lane LLC so that makes three names for this company. How is a person suppose to know who they are dealing with?
Their web sit may be legal, but the way they do business is unethical and deceptive. I noticed that not only do they do business this way, but other companies on line dealing with this type of product also seem deceptive.
