I ordered GNS' Slim Seduction to get flair points on my Myspace. (I know - stupid!) I figured it would only cost me 3.97 and hey, don't we all need to lose a couple pounds? I read everything, word for word, even the fine print. I was aware of the auto-ship but I had intended on cancelling it before my 21 day trial was up so no big deal, right? Wrong. I did cancel, I called 2 days before they were supposed to bill me the $79.90 (which is bogus too - the form online said 45).
When I called, I was informed that they had to receive the product back in that 21 day time period. Well, I didn't even get it for ten days. I would've had to ship it right back as soon as I got it. It never said that anywhere, I made sure! I found my way to this website and the reports I read said that GNS was claiming to never receive the shipments back. I printed off those reports and went to my bank, JPMorgan Chase.
The banker there put in a stop payment request for the $79.90 to GNS. She said she wasn't sure it would go through because they typically need 3 days. I was ready to close my account but we decided to report my debit card as lost instead. God bless her because nothing has went through and it was supposed to 5 days ago. They didn't have my account #, only my debit card #. It was worth waiting 4 days for a new card to avoid giving those crooks 80 dollars! It would've been worth closing my account too, glad I didn't have to do that. Go to your bank, let them know what's going on. If your card has been reported lost or stolen, or if there is no longer an account, they can't get your money!!
The other thing that concerns me about this company is this - they're making people send it back, how many people had these pills before I got them? That little plastic band around the neck of the bottle is easily replaced, who knows how many times they've repackaged pills that have been handled by someone else! You hope they're throwing them away - highly unlikely! I know the FDA doesn't get involved with "supplements" but somebody needs to check this company out to make sure their product is sterile and not handled by 100 people. Creeps put blades in halloween candy, who's to say some creep wouldn't put anthrax or something similar in those pills and return them?
I hope this helps some of you! The reports I read helped me decide to run to the bank immediately, and I avoided the high cost. Good luck to those of you dealing with GNS, you're gonna need it!
P.S. I threw their stupid pills away! I checked with UPS - $9.00 to ship them back with tracking (don't do it without, they won't get them back, so they say). They cost me enough having to hassle with it all, they're not getting my money or their pills!

I am the original author of this particular report. I just thought I'd stop by and check things out and am not surprised how many new reports there are for good ole GNS. I haven't seen anyone else give my suggestions of cancelling your card so I thought I'd add a comment and bump this up so some of you might see it. Hopefully it will help you out. It's been over 2 months now and I haven't heard a word from GNS. Plus I still have all my money except the original 3.97 I was willing to pay. Good luck to all of you and for those that do return their product - get shipment tracking - it will be well worth the money!!

The offer you ordered from is our 21 day trial offer of Slim Seduction the offer states that if you keep the trial order past the 21 day trial period you would be billed $79.90. We also provide an additional 9 days after your 21 day trial period ends in which you are eligible for a refund. This allows our customers to try out our product and return it within the 21 day trial period if they are unsatisfied for any reason; this allows our customer to try the product out for free. Most offers require the upfront purchase of their product with a period of time to return it if unsatisfied.
In addition, there is an autoship program which begins 45 days after the date your order is placed; if you like the product then the autoship would be a benefit in replenishing your supply at the discounted price of $69.90 with free shipping. If you determine that you are unsatisfied this could be cancelled at anytime. We sincerely apologize if there was any confusion with this offer; we present this same information four different times for this to not be missed. Additionally, we provide our contact information for our customers should they have any questions in regard to their order. We're more than willing to assist our customers with any questions they may have. We require the return of the order to process a refund; most companies do require the return of an item to process a refund for them just as if a purchase was made in a store. Our products are sealed not just with the plastic band around the neck of the bottle, also with the foil seal once you opened the bottle.
It's unfortunate you had to go through the process of cancelling your card--the return of the order would've avoided the necessity of this.
