I got banned from Godlike Productions for a reason I am still completely unaware of. The ban page suggested that I pay for membership to remove the ban. It is ultimately listed as one of the perks of being a paying member. So I filled out a credit card form, created a new account, and paid for my membership.

I was able to log in to the site and post a thread. My first thread was about the ban and how I was uncertain about how the membership works. Seconds later, my account was banned again. But this time my personal details were compromised. My username was changed to "Ima Dipshit" and I received a very insulting message to my private email with the following message: "Go away troll! You're banned for good this time. Thanks for the money!"

I've requested an explanation for the ban and why they presume I am what they call a troll. I've also asked to be refunded for my membership costs but now my email address has been blocked.

I don't see how they can claim that I am a troll. Anyone that has access to the site can search for my username and find posts done by me (Fraudlike -- that is if they haven't deleted all my threads or posts). I cannot however, because I am banned from viewing my own profile.

I am vocal about being atheist, and I guess that may have upset some people, but since when is having an opinion violating the Terms of Use? I feel that I have not broken any rules. I feel ripped off. Insulted, and, like the moderators called me, a dipshit for trusting that this site was managed by civil and sensible people.

I have sent a message to my credit card company and I have asked them to cancel the transaction. I don't know what else I can do. They've got my money.
