so awhile back i pre-ordered a game from Gogamer.com. i had never heard of this company before but it was recommended to me by EA games and i figured i could trust the company if EA games was recommending them. little did i know this was the beginnings of a long headache. ounce the game was released it was not at my house ounce the game had been out for several weeks still not in my possession. finally i contact them, they said they will re- send it. (time passed:2.5 months) i wait and wait and wait nothing comes. finally i receive an email saying

"Dear customer,

Please note that your order was shipped back to us by the USPS , please let us know what would like us to do.

Any returns for refund are subject to a $5 restocking fee. If you want to exchange it with something ells the $5 will be waved.

If you would like us to send it back to you please write us back with your complete shipping address.

why was my order shipped back to them? i contacted the post office regarding the tracking number given to me it was to a pallet not for a specific piece of mail

i responded with

"At this point i would just like a refund."

i was told "We have issued a refund for your order as of today."

After this began a saga of back and forth emails the individual i was dealing with repeatedly asked for my order number appeared to become confused.

i was unaware of what was brewing so i politely thanked him.

in the following emails below is where is turned ugly i was fed up with waiting and believed i was owned the money.

Sorry but you are not writing us back with the same original message we sent you regarding the refund. If you can check your old emails we have sent you a message that should mentions a $5 restocking fee for all returns sent back to us. Your order for _________________ was for $44.90 + $ 3.99 for shipping. The restocking fee was taken from the Game charge of $44.90. We hate to charge anything extra from our customers but the post office charges us a return fee for the product we ship with them and the credit card company also charges us for a credit issued back to your credit card.

this is where i gave them a decision to make. i was not going to pay a restocking fee and i was not going to oblige nor would i accept anything less than all of my money back.

I understand what you are saying, however i purchased this game from you many months ago and your company failed to deliver the product to me; be it the post office fault or within your own company. I do not believe i should be charged for an error that was not a fault of my own. you have credited my credit card with $39.99 when you billed me for $48.40. i expect $8.41 to be credited to my credit card. if not further action will be taken on my part including and most certainly not limited to filing a complaint with your local Better Business Bureaus office.

i am awaiting your response ounce threatened with the better business bureau and the promise of more they sort of pull it together take responsibility attempt to explain them self and offer a Full refund minus shipping. which i suppose i can live with after all that went to the USPS for the item to be moved and supposedly the product was actually shipped to my house however when from a company has lied and misled you from the get go it is difficult to even believe said company in the first place.

We have offered to send back your return item from the post office on our account in our past emails, we have explained to you that we can send it back again to you on our account with no extra charge or if you want you can have a refund minus the $5 restocking fee. I can offer you the refund on the restocking fee for $5 but we can't refund you the shipping charge because we did ship it out like you requested by the post office.

Finnaly fully refunded minus the shipping which i can let go because that was to the US for getting it to my house supposedly

but if it was at my house i would have kept it and not asked for a refund claiming i never received it.
