Eventually, GoGoRocket did an excellent job. The number of referrals for my project vitruvianvision have gone up significantly, despite the Christmas flaw that had set my project back quite a bit. I enjoyed an one hour consultation, and learned more than in any marketing course at school- for a fifth of the value for money I'd have had to pay for the same information here in Austria. Considering the skype conference took place at 11 at night L.A. times, and finished a little after midnight there, it was even more amazing. The customer care via e-mail has been excellent so far, too. This is probably one of the most amazing experiences in my life, especially since something that looked like an obvious ripoff at first not just turned out to be none, but eventually led to a very nice contact and cross-cultural exchange of sorts. :)

..it is Christmas time, and people are stressed out on both sides of business. Eventually, I did get an answer from Dustin at GogoRocket (their Marketing guy), respectively we exchanged a lot of information in the course of solving our dispute (including European versus American Christmas traditions). Seems we were both caught up in Holidays madness and messed up the time difference.

We had fixed an appointment for 12:00 my time, and not only had he gotten the time zone wrong (I could have checked, too, but was too stressed out to bother and trusted his judgement), with the information I had I called him at three o'clock in the morning/night (time difference between LA and Austria is 9 hours-, but when you check it out on the internet you very often find the wrong information). No wonder noone answered my call. His skype was on (very many people leave it on at night), so I thought it must be daytime, and they are simply ignoring their customers.

Then there is Austrian versus American business practises: in Austria it is illegal for a company to operate without giving their tax number and detailed company information on their homepage. I could not find this anywhere on theirs, also, they had shifted from gogorocket.info to gogorocket.com recently, which I then remembered and found suspicious. He promised my questions would be answered when we talk, and I am looking forward to this.
