My wife and I contracted this company to build our custom pool. At sales the entire company was friendly and helpful until we signed the contract, once the contract was signed they became difficult and arrogant, told us that the permit would only take 2 days to get-it was a lot longer than that. When they excavated the pool they left our driveway and streets a mess, dirt everywhere, our neighbors were upset to say the least. I asked the person who dug the pool if he was going to clean up the streets and he laughed at me and said "gonna rain, that will take care of it", sure enough it rained the next day and washed all the dirt right into the storm sewer, "thats why we pay high taxes so that our city can clean out our storm sewers", that was Gold Medals Response when I asked them about it.
During the spraying of the cement into the shell of the pool we were asked to let them into our garage to allow them to reset my GFCI because the pump they were using kept kicking the GFCI. During the course of this it seems one of their workers went into the garage and stole my tool box full of tools along with several other things. When I called them I was told "if you did not catch them in the act we cannot do anything" .
The entire construction experiance was the worst experiance we have had in our lives, every phase was a challange for them and we had to constantly correct them on what we were told we contracted for. Once again when we called into speak to the Owners Steve/Josh Sandler they were arrogant and treated us like it was their pool instead of ours. On one occasion they told us they would just put the entire job on hold and we might miss the swim season.
The pool is less than a year old and is cracked and they will not warranty it because they say its not leaking, the decks around the pool are also cracked. They claimed it was the result of ground movement and therefore not covered by warranty. They took no premptive measures to prevent the decks from cracking, an engineer has advised us that it could have been prevented by proper building methods.
These overall workmanship is very poor to say the least. If you are thinking of using this company I would think twice, they spam the internet with all good stuff on themselves but I can tell you our pool really was/is a disaster.

As you can see the user name on this account is JM. Gold Medal Pools has only one client with the initials JM. They have been contacted and confirmed that this report was not posted by them and is TOTALLY FALSE. None of the facts in this report are true. In an email from JM after the report was filed, she states:
We are very pleased with the pool and working with Gold Medal Pools. We have never posted any negative statements on-line in reference to our experience.

We have never lost our focus on providing the BEST customer service, dealing with employees and clients in an UP FRONT, HONEST manner, and most importantly addressing any questions or concerns that may arise.
Although the internet can be a powerful tool for business, the internet can also be used by individuals to create false user names and post false statements that can misrepresent an individual or organization, in a sabotaging effort to damage them and extort money. We are dealing with one of those individuals right now.
