I sent several items to gold paq and was very disappointed when I got my check. I weighed the items before I sent them and they totaled one half ounce including small diamonds As we all know gold is selling for $1,000 an ounce. I recieved a check for just over $60.00. WOW that is far from the $300 or so we should have gotten. They offer a return policy that if you return the check within ten days they will return your jewlery. WELL They dated the check the 25th, sent it the 28th, and we recieved it on the 2nd. So much for returning it and getting our items back.
Do not send you gold to Goldpaq wellington companies They are a fraud and you cannot contact them by any phone number they list. It is all recordings.

You should have seen a jewler

You made the biggest, and number one mistake anyone makes when dealing with any of these 'we'll give you cash for your gold' companies... most people do not realize that the true amount of gold on thier jewlery is as tiny as it actually is... so obviously, the first step, before even contacting any of these companies would be to see a jewler, and yea this may cost 20 or 30 bucks, and have them evaluation and value the amount of gold on a piece, and then send a copy of that along with the jewlery, and see what you get in return.
and it only costs about fourteen dollars to ship a letter overnight, and as you should have read the fine print, you should have already known the 'return'policy,so you should have paid extra to have it shipped with tracking info/delivery confirmation or through UPS or DHL or something, so there is a timestamped proof of when the letter was recieved.
Do you homework before doing something like this.. but also remember, if you were to pawn it.. they also only give about ten percent of the actal value of the piece.
