When I recieved the "Winning Final Notication" letter I had a very deep feeling of, this is too good to be true! and it was exactly that . . . oh yes the check looks legit and even the bank name used which in my case it was Key Bank 1 Canal Plz, 7th Flr, Portland, ME 04112, the check was like all the others in the amount of $4,995.00 with a BS letter attached saying the check was for taxes, what a Joke.

I called the number for Gold Star Securities and finally a female with a very heavy African accent answered the phone, noise of children loud in the background, she rudely asked the winning claim number and date on check issued, when i started asking her questions she hung up the phone.

I forwarded the check and the bogus winning letter to my local consumer law attorney, the best course of action to take is to forward all of the so called winning notification to your Attorney General's Office of Consumer Affairs because I live in the state of Maryland our Attorney General's Office address is 200 st. Paul Place, Baltimore, MD 21202, (410) 528-8662 and to the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) Report GOLD STAR SECURITIES TO ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE!
