Goldrush Getaways sneaky, ruined credit, refused to cancel Ontario, California

Goldrush Getaways has not conducted sales of memberships in the Ontario, CA, since September of 2011. So this recent post is stale dated at best.  Goldrush Getaways is very upfront in its presentation, both in the verbal and the written, that we are not selling a business opportunity.  We are not a timeshare.  We are the alternative to timeshare. We are not multi-level.   We do not sell "cards".  We are not a card mill!

Goldrush Getaways sells memberships in our travel agency to save on your future travel.  If members wish to pursue a career in travel we provide a path and some tools to get you there.  We have in-house training as well as vendor supported seminars and webinars with helpful information.

Goldrush Getaways has a 72 hours rescission period as mandated by California law.  It the complainant called within 24 hours, they were advised that they had 72 hours from date of purchase to return the signed release form and our proprietary materials.  So "they" DID NOT lie.   We cannot cancel a written contract just with a verbal request.   "We" would have had to BOTH sign the release form and return the contract paperwork and the materials within the 72 hour period.  That is 48 hours more then they claim they were allowed. They still had plenty of time.  If "We" did not cancel in writing then, yes, the contract would have remained in force.  72 hours is not unreasonable according to the state of California and allows time for those not in the immediate Ontario to return any contract paperwork and proprietary materials to our location.

There is nothing sneaky about the presentation nor is there any lie being perpetrated here.  There is a box on the face of the "Retail Installment Agreement" that is checked by all who purchase that they understand the 72 hour rescisssion period.

These complainants obviously did not sign and return the paperwork and materials in a reasonable amount of time as allowed by the laws of the state of California.

There seems to be some important facts left out of this post.  We do not just send people to collection just after they joined.  These complainants ignored other signs that they are not mentioning here.  It just serves their misrepresentation of facts not in evidence.
